Philosophy for Children (P4C) can be used as a powerful teaching tool and nurture young minds to be more caring and collaborative and well as develop students as critical thinkers. Damien Walsh shares a brief history of P4C and gives us a window into how it looks within his classroom. We discuss the positives that come from using the technique as well as dispelling some myths and misconceptions about it. Much research has been carried out on the effectiveness of its implementation, but can we really measure how impactful P4C is?
