Katy is an English teacher, in South West England. She has been teaching for something in the region of 16 years, and has worked in both the South West, and North West of England, having qualified in Manchester. She is a single parent to one son (age 11 and in Year 7), with no family nearby; her son’s father lives some 300 miles away. In addition, she is a domestic abuse survivor and kidney transplant recipient. She likes books, cats, and cups of tea.
