Phil Naylor joins Dorian for a natter (a Naylor's Natter if you will) about edu-podcasting. What goes on behind the curtain in order to produce a successful, well planned, informative and engaging podcast?
‘Mr. Podcast’ reminisces about the podcast’s humble beginnings and how its growth has been an iterative process but has carried with it a popular following over the last 3 years. We discuss the mechanics of creating a podcast and how it has become ‘easier’ to do so in recent times but still takes a fair bit of effort and commitment.
We unpack how important it is for educators to have their voice heard and to have open discourse on the educational issues of our time through diversity of opinion and representation of our profession and how these discussions can fuel improvements in both teaching and leadership.
Through his podcast, Phil has spoken with a huge range of educators, leaders, luminaries and commentators and his knowledge and passion really comes through in this show.
I cannot confirm or deny as to whether there was a sweepstake at TTR towers as to how long it would take for the ‘Football Coaching badges with Roy Keane’ to be dropped 😆
Listen to the end for an exclusive, exciting announcement from the Naylor’s Natter stable too!
