This morning I spoke with Roxanne Padley about Research, Language and Sociolinguistics. We spoke about some of her research in online communication and its effect on the perception of appearance.
Roxanne Holly Padley is PhD doctoral researcher in Linguistic Studies at the University of Salerno and a contract Professor at the Department of Medicine (University of Salerno) as well as the Department of Agriculture (University of Sassari). Her research interests include English for specific purposes (medical English), sociolinguistics and corpus-based discourse analysis.
