A bumper show today as Dorian is joined by Sam Spencer to discuss taking on further studies whilst still working full time in the classroom. How does taking on Masters qualifications and other self study courses impact your teaching, workflow and wellbeing? Following course completion, how impactful is the study on your leading and teaching?
We also tip our hairy toes into educational technology challenges that the pandemic has thrown up and discuss how lived experiences may inform how teachers are trained to use tech and also how professional development around technology use should be framed and implemented.
Sam shares his passion and enthusiasm for education, technology, education technology and self improvement and puts forward a strong argument as to why (with the presence of certain parameters) engaging in further study is a rewarding and enriching process that teachers should seriously consider!
